SEc P1870 98 blazer

OK so i have looked at some of the post in here about the valve body needing replaced. and i saw somewhere about it being a kit for $39 or so. my question is how hard would this be to do on my own?

Most shops won't touch this for liability issues.

I can change my own oil and do my brakes even did a valve cover replacement on a old Saturn engine. I want to know if this is something that I could do on my own? what tech skill level would you say this is?
