Replacing trim around rear windows?
Sorry if this has been brought up before..did a search, and couldn't find anything, maybe I'm using the wrong phrase or something.
Anyhow, I've got a 2dr Blazer (as one might be able to glean from my username), and the plastic trim that surrounds both the driver's and passenger's side rear windows is fading, more so the passenger's side. It's so bad that it's almost turning a funky shade of grey-brown, with little cracks and pockmarks all over it. That being said, how much is involved in removing/replacing these pieces of trim, and if anyone has done it, about what is this going to run me, ballpark? Thanks as always for any help, fellas. |

Re: Replacing trim around rear windows?
As you may have seen from that thread, the trim and glass is one piece. the cheapest and easier way to fix it is to sand and paint it.

Re: Replacing trim around rear windows?
the windows have 2 3/16 aluminum rivets in the rear and then they are glued in with ureathane. you can paint then in the car. just mask them off
