Question Replacing the Turn Signal Lever switch

Hi guys I have a 2001 chevy blazer and the windshield wipers don't work. The switch that is between the cruise control and the the wiper fluid control just keeps spinning around. Do I need to replace the entire Turn Signal Lever switch or is their a way to fix the wiper switch?

Now the windshield wipers won't stop. I pulled the fuse and that stopped it for now.

Do I need to tear down the entire column to change it out?

Looked at the wiring diagram and it looks like the fast setting runs straight to the relay module. All the other signals run through the general module then through the relay module to the wiper relay. There is only one wiper relay.
Check the general module and then the relay module.

Sounds like you need to replace the entire combo switch.

It's a bit tricky but fairly easy. If you've got a manual read up on it first. It will save you 30 mins of head scratching.

1.pull the wheel
2. remove column cover
3. remove the lower plastics
4. there is a big connector held togehter with a 7mm bolt that is the harness for the multi function switch.
5. the connector comes into 3 pieces thers tabs to separate the sides of it from the main body.
6. theres 3 t-15 or so torx bolts holding the multi function switch on.
