Recommandations for Break pads ?

Being in France, I plan to import from USA break pads front and rear for my 2000 LT Blazer, 4x4 , 4 doors, 4,3l V6 Vortec W.
What are your recommandations concerning the stuff ? Ceramic, Carbon/ferro,
stock pads , metalic, ..........?
What brand ?
Thanks in advance for your help .
Serge.

Re: Recommandations for Break pads ?

semi metallic are good if your not worried about break dust on wheels . if you don't want brake dust then use ceramic . i'd use ceramic up front on disc's and semi metallic in rear if you have drum's if rears are disc i'd use ceramic all around , for no dust

I just installed the Summit "Extreme Performance slotted/vented rotors up front (ordered for the rear too, but the only part number ended up being too deep for my 2wd, hadta send them back) and the Summit "EP" pads on all fours. Very good performance for the money, and not as much brake dust as my old Hawk pads.
