Rear seat handle/release thing broke. cant let seat down!

im pretty sure both 2 and 4 door rear seat handles are the same. so both can chime in! on my blazer the driver side rear seat cable is broke or something. i cant get it to go down. i have looked under the handle and the cable is attached to the handle like it should be. so i got some pliers and pulled on the cable, and it will pull some, then just stop. seat will not go anywhere. how do i go about fixing this, or atleast get the seat to go down? i need to put some wheels/tires in there friday so it would be nice to let the seat down!

please someone help!!!

the cable gos the where the seat belts are. check there.

im surpirsed mine havent broke already, i have to yank mine hard. But yeah, the cable from the handle goes down to the outer mount.

i figured it out. i dont really know how to explain it, ill take a pic tomorrow incase anyone else has the problem and cant figure it out.

i dont know. i need to take the seats out and look at the close to see what moves when you lift the handle. i look and see nothing moving.but i can eaisly let the seat down. i am going to look further into fixing it.
