Rear main in 98 4.6?

How many labor hours does this call for? I am assuming it's a 2 piece rear main. I would hope at least. Mom's apparently went to hell and she was wondering how much it may cost. I am just going to have to move to Montana to maintain her rig for her...

Re: Rear main in 98 4.6?

well if its a 4.3 this is what i found depending on auto or manual and 2 or 4 wheel drive
i also believe its a 1 piece. basic instructions is remove tranny, flywheel, then seal and reverse for install

4wd auto trans 8.7
4wd manual trans 6
2wd auto trans 6
2wd manual trans 5.2
