Re: rear hatch popper
my jimmy 4 door was bone stock. my rear popper is located on the whole panel with the light switches and rear wiper on/off. you may not have a popper if your glass has the turn knob on the outside or a popper button on the outside that opens it when the truck is unlocked. you might just have that push button on the outside that pops the rear glass when the truck is unlocked.

Re: rear hatch popper
the popper is a whole wire assembly and a motor. If you dont have a rear hatch popper on the dash, you probably don't have the motor in the tailgate either. I just shaved my tailgate so I have all that stuff if you need pictures or if you want to convert.

Re: rear hatch popper
My 96 does not have the popper switch either. Post what you find. I may install the popper switch and mechanism if is not too hard. I'll have power to the rear once I install a 10 woofer and amp.
