question on the blazers.

ok i currently bought a '98 chevy blazer, and i noticed that there is this speaker looking thing on the headlinner(where the oh shit handle is), is it a speaker or what, what is it. lol, my dad has a 99 and he has the same thing. So if someone know what it is let me know thanks. oh and one more thing every once in awhile inside on passanger side there is this clicking sound, if anyone know anything about either one let me know thanks.

Re: question on the blazers.

Do you have the automatic climate controls? If so, it's the inside temp sensor.

Re: question on the blazers.

The OnStar mic is either attached to the side of the upper console or is on the mirror.

Re: question on the blazers.

Definately temp sensor. I've checked it out. Mine's noisy & I need to replace it. It's got a lttle fan inside that sucks in the air & measures the temp.
