Re: Quarter Window Trim

yep, that really is the only way to fix it, buy the whole window or fix it like in Kevin's how to.

mine were pretty bad before also. I sanded mine down and primed/painted them. they turned out great.

Re: Quarter Window Trim

the easiest thing to do is use spot putty. we build and mess with mustangs like madmen around here in my part of GA. you cannot buy new coupe quarter windows... no aftermarket company makes them (you can only buy hatchback quarters) so... just like on the coupe's quarter windows, you sand the area (make sure you mask off the window and paint) and use spot putty to fill in the pits and build up the area, sand, spot putty, sand, spot putty, repeat, ect. then paint with bumper black paint.

Re: Quarter Window Trim

it sounds harder than it is but its not terribly bad. or go to a junk yard and see if any blazers have nice windows not pitted or go to a automotive glass place. the sell aftermarket ones. i have one in mine since someone had it put in before i owned it.

pretty much nothing else. i used a heat inductor. it kinda sucked. i then used an equalizer window tool on the other side. 5 min after i had the rivets out it fell out. theres not much glue on the edges its on the back by the vents they had alot of urethane.. i had my interior out so it was a cake walk.
