Question problems # 5000 +

so yet again, i am having problems with my 97 blazer. i swear to god there are some days that if i didnt need this truck, i would drive it off a cliff. well enough of that time to figure out the problems and how to fix them.

problem # 5001: my turn signals are not functioning properly. last year i had the same problem and the multifunction switch was replaced. so now the turn signal light comes on, but no blinking. i put on the flashers, and what do you know. ive got blinking.

problem # 5002: i have noticed a chirping noise coming from the wheel area. im guessing it has to do with my suspension, because when i shake my truck from side to side, the noise appears.

problem # 5003: upon acceleration in between 0 - 40ish there is a noise that comes from underneath my feet. it sends off a vibration and sounds like something is banging from underneath. of course i only happens when i am driving and occurs every now and then, but its been there for the past few months, and when i brought in the truck to chevy to service and inspect, of course they said nothing was wrong.

so if anyone has had any experience with any of these problems, please let me know what they might be and what i can do about it before i whip out a crowbar and beat the shit out of it. and i gotta say, no offense to any chevy dealers or service guys on this site, but the chevy service guys and mechanics i have found never seem to understand that i drive this vehicle everyday and been driving it for the past 2 years so i know when something is wrong. and yet they dont ever find anything wrong with it. gaaaaaaaaaah.

Problem #5001

It may be simple, but have you looked for a light out? When one of the signal filaments is blown the signal light won't flash on that side. The four way flashers will still flash though.

Brad

#5002 is your front sway bar endlinks or A-arm bushings........ I had the same thing.... Get some soapy water in a spray bottle and spray the endlinks, then shake and see if it helps...... move to other bushings until you find it the cause.... then get some lithium spray grease and give the problem bushing a squirt every few weeks...

Actually on late model vehicles, if the bulb is out, it will flash real fast. It's the warning system to tell you to check the bulbs. Sounds like a bad flasher to me. The four ways and the turn signals, use different flashers.

While I don't dispute it could be the flasher, on both my 95 and my friends 2002 when we blew blinker lights it stayed solid and didn't flash fast...
