pics of bumper
i have the bumper with the plastic black strip on it. and i think it looks bad. i want one of the newer bumpers. but after looking it would seem as though the chrome bumper i have it the same as the new ones with just that black plastic on it . i know there would be holes from the connectors but i think auto stores sell something to plug those.
btw i have a 1998 Chevy blazer 4dr. 4wd thanks to all |

Re: pics of bumper
or you can buy a bumper without the holes. you will probably need a different valance.
heres my truck with the stock valance ![]() then i took off that valance and changed it for this one ![]() and then i put the plasic strip back on, i think it looks much better but im still looking for a smooth bumper slowly. ![]() |

Re: pics of bumper
what would be cheaper? bondo/fiber glass or something like that and then painted or just get one of the new style bumper? but where did you (cpolaris502) get the new valence? and how did you both get the bumper plastic things off and not hurt them and get them back on?
thanks |

Re: pics of bumper
there are just clips in the back of the bumper. you squeeze them in and then push out through the holes. its pretty easy. i wouldn't try filling in the holes with bondo or something like that, it wouldn't lat very long. weld in pieces of metal and then bondo to smooth it out.
i bought my valence on here. it was used for 30 bucks. |

Re: pics of bumper
They come that way. You can get holes or no holes because of the different valances that there are.

Re: pics of bumper
Ya,or better known as LS which has the holes and diffrent grill and non LS which has the standard grill and no holes in the bumper.
YAYAYAYA! I know,"Mines an LS,but I dont have that bumper",Im just refering to the style of bumper, not the truck trim package. |

Re: pics of bumper
i have seen that there are a few different front valence options(either stock or after market) where would a person get one of the different valences?

Re: pics of bumper
Mines a new GM, got it for $109 shipped off ebay. The aftermarkets are just as good imo, just have to work a little harder to align them.
It'll cost more money in the end to shave a bumper with holes than to buy a smoothie. You can get both the bumper and valance off ebay, that'll be your cheapest bet unless you have good prices at your local junk yards like me. |
