parts....
where is the best place for me to get parts for my 99 trailblazer? i'm looking for a cold air kit to start off with and move to headers and exhaust later on. i was also wondering if the throttle body spacer is worth the money? i'm looking to get a few more horses out of the motor for a better pedal response. any good parts places, answers and other ideas for what else i can do will be greatly appreciated. you guys rock!!!!

Re: parts....
Negative on the TB spacer!! go to Styinconcepts.com. they have everything. also any CAI(cold air intake) will do.

Re: parts....
yeah any "cold air intake" (even though most aren't cold air) will do jsut make sure it has a high flow filter on the end even better if it has the heat shield too, and for exhuast it all depends on what your looking for loud, quiet or jsut medium...for loud u can go with like a 40 series flowmaster gives a real loud rumble, for a low to medium i would suggest the dynomax super turbo exhuast system from summit here is the link to the exhasut it is $109 http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
here is a link ot the sound clip thanks to judds paintballs http://people.cedarville.edu/Student...Superturbo.mp3 that is the exhuast i plan to run on my 99 ls... hope that helped some good luck joshey |

Re: parts....
so what would be a good quiet exhaust for it. I'm just looking for something that flows smoother and will help with the horsies and acceleration. This is the vehicle my wife drives our new baby girl around in. I get to drive it some, but it is mainly for her and the baby so it has to be quiet. something that flows well but sounds stock. it will also be used for the occansional road trip. And i'm looking at getting the K&N CAI with the shield. Thanks and hopefully someone knows a good silent muffler for it.

Re: parts....
well you know I'm gonna plug for that dynomax superturbo exhaust. really ain't all that much louder than stock (can't hear hardly any difference inside the passenger compartment). just a lil meaner grumble especially at startup. not annoying at all. the soundclip above was taken about 6 inches from the exhaust pipe so go listen to a stock exhaust that close then compare.
and it flows really well |

Re: parts....
WOW!!!!! That does sound nice. And i can't really tell much of a difference from stock and that one. I would have listened to it earlier but i kept hitting the wrong link. that is probably what i wll go with then. now about headers, y-pipe and a high flow cat??????? Thanks guys!!!!
