where is the oxygen sensor located on a 2000 gmc jimmy ?

yea. mine is an s10 and i changed it awhile back and it helped out a little but there are many other things that can equate to it running rough. first off i'd changed oxygen sensor(o2 sensor) it is actually expensive if i remember correctly. this will cut down the other things causing the rough idle or running.

Well, I know in a S10 there are two o2 sensors. The one after the cat does not effect fuel / air, but the one before the cat does.
The one after the cat only tells you if your cat is working properly. |

With my 96, I had 4 O2 sensors. 1 each on the left and right just after the exhaust manifolds. 1 pre- catalytic convertor, and 1 after the cat.
This of course is with the 4.3 v6. I would assume this is the same for the 00's as well. I would try flushing the cooling system again also....hell, it's cheaper than a radiator. |
