Exclamation Opinions 95-97 blazer comp. grille*

Awhile down the road i'm going to be running Blazer composite headlight instead of my jimmy composites. So the only thing besides the headlights i need is a Blazer grille. I don't really want it with a chevy emblem. Or chrome. So are there any opinion for grilles and maybe inserts?

I don't want:

I'm most likely going to paint the grill black(incase it's not already).

I like the stock chrome versions myself. That first one you posted is ugly, and it does look cheap-o in person. And only other version I know of (besisdes cheap-o looking ones) is the unpainted one:

I think that's pretty much what i'm going to get, don't really want the chevy emblem. But i don't want any tacky cheap ones like you said.

Thanks for the reply 96blazer

Yep! That's what i'm looking for, just clean and simple (no chevy emblem)

Does some one make those or did you make that your self?

That is Ryan Nelson's S-10. I believe he just shaved/fiberglassed it.

Here is another one, but a newer year. This is member dragnlow on blazinlow.com, dunno how he did it, but it looks good.

Thanks for the pictures.

I can't really be too picky I guess, I'll most likely get a stock one then later on deal with customizing it

Searched the name. You are correct. He posts as 'suncad03' here.

Interesting in that I was thinking of going the other way.. I have a 97 Blazer and like the look of the Jimmy grill (without the gmc logo )instead. It did look like I need to change the front bumper tho since the jimmy has that indentation. I thought I needed to change the core support too. Is that not right? Can I just change the lights and grill and not have to do the bumper/ core?

Re: Opinions 95-97 blazer comp. grille*

i didn't see any in stylin concepts without the bowtie. i've been looking for a long time for bars without the bow tie spot. I'm trying to do the same thing. composites with the blank horizontal bars. I'm just gonna get the el cheapo one or the bowtied one

The only reason i was going to go with a Blazer compost is because lmc sold crystal clear blazer composites and not jimmy ones. I was going to a HID retro into those blazer clears. But Never did it.

I do with out a doubt like jimmy composites over blazers.
