oil filter lines

ok so i search all the forums i know of and found nothing about the oil filter line removal . i found a lot about replacing and removing the cooler lines but nothing about the filter lines. the ones i am talking about if you don't understand are the ones from the oil pan to the oil filter. i can get the bolt off of the lines that is attached to the filter part but cant get to the bolt that attaches them to the engine/oil pan. how do i get them off? thanks

Re: oil filter lines

ok so i called my goodyear/gemini repair shop and they said they dont have a clue what i was talking about and dont do it. but some one told me that i should get a 2X4 and put that on the oil pan and then get a jack and jack it up enough to get to the lines. is that is ? can you just jack up the motor and not hurt the motor mounts? any input would be nice. thanks so much!
