newer style power mirrors?

Well I finally bought a set of 98+ mirrors, power and heated. I have the 97 style mirror. Are the wires the same color? I seached and didn't find anything that helped, but I rember ready something a while ago about it.

Wires are different colors and the plugs are different too. Cut the plugs off of your old mirrors and use those on the new ones, your going to hafto mix and match colors till each one deos what its supposd to.

i remember my driver side being the same colors...

and the passanger side was different..and i remember matching up the pin numbers from each plug..

i put 02 mirrors on my 98 that had the old style...also the heated mirror only has power and ground and both wires are black..it dont matter what you use for what

All 98's had those mirrors actually. 99 is when they switched.

they had to use up all the "extra" parts layin around the plant!

same with the 94's with all them 93 parts...........
