newbie question
I just bought a 96 blazer. it has the push button shift for 4WD. any special thing i need to do in order to shift or just push while driving?

neutral for 4 lo and be driving less than 3mph. stopped is better. for 4 hi, you can switch it while moving, not sure what speed though. good idea is to read the owners manual, it tells you all about it. welcome to the forum btw

anything under 55 Im pretty sure you can shift on the fly. I usally stop though.

i know for a fact 4 lo needs shifted under 3mph in neutral. 4 hi should shift in on the fly, but i dont think i'd push it past 45mph while in 4 hi. im not sure if 4 hi will shift out while moving though...

It will shift out. I think it is best just to stop and put it in neutral when puttin it in 4wd.
