New owner and new member

Just wanted to say hi to all and really appreciate the great information here.

I just made the deal to buy a 2000 Bravada. Sight unseen, but many photos and documents and phone conversations led me to trust the seller. It almost seems to good to be true... 136k miles, new fuel pump, 15k on rebuilt tranny and I bought it for $2500.00... deal can be broken if I find something wrong with it when I pick it up.

If anyone has any advice for me to look for, I'd appreciate any input. I'm not sure exactly how to identify if some components are okay or not, but intend to give it a thorough going over.

One question I have... are there ANY aftermarket grills for the bravada? I like the truck, but the bravada grills are awful.

I will probably debadge the truck (don't like the gold plates)

Thanks!!

Re: New owner and new member

Here's a few from the ones he sent me. Even the seat leather is in pretty good condition for the age and miles.
Hope it turns out to be as advertised.

Nice color. I hate the grills too. Checkout www.lmctruck.com for GMC and Chevy options to install.

That price isnt so far out there to make it unbelievable. Yeah, you can just swap that grill straight out for one like a Jimmy.
