new mirrors
ok hello all. i just got some new mirrors from the junk yard and i need help with them. my blazer is a 1998 with power heated and the new mirrors are from a 2000 and they are power heated also. i got them in and they look great. but the wiring connectors are different. so how do i get them to work. thanks

Cut the plug off and put the old ones on the new mirrors

I heard you can pop the wires out of the connector then put them in the old connector which saves you cutting wires. Problem is I hear the color coding on the wires is different and I haven't seen a diagram to know what is what. I need to know this myself since I'd like to put new style mirrors on my 98 Jimmy.

yea i got them in and they look much better and i just put the mirror where i needed them. bu ti would like to get them wired up. but thanks
