new fuel pump loud in afternoon

i replaced the fuel pump on my 98 blazer. thinking it was the problem.
cause the old one would get really loud in the afternoon then shut off.
what makes the fuel pump get loud then fail.

i have no idea, maybe your fuel filter is super clogged causing extra stress on the pump to force gas through it. does the truck run fine?
