Re: NEW 2nd Gen Blazer Roll Pan
I'm not sure how I feel about their Xtreme kit... the plate box looks a little wierd in the picture and the rear skirt pieces look like a flat angle instead of curved like the raw pan.

Re: NEW 2nd Gen Blazer Roll Pan
Please make sure you add your name to the list on the Blazinlow thread. When we get close to purchase date I will need info to make a master list to send to this guy so when we call and order we will get a discount..

Re: NEW 2nd Gen Blazer Roll Pan
Don't get me wrong... I do think it is a quality product... ECC is a reputable company. And I also think that if it's made out of ABS then it will be far easier to prep and paint. Plus the price is great.
I really would have to see one installed before I comitted to a purchase. It feels wierd having a lot of people agree with me... I thought I was the resident A-Hole! |

Re: NEW 2nd Gen Blazer Roll Pan
if they've got these things in stock.. I can go look at them and possibly get some pics cuz I just live like 15-20 minutes away from this place if anyone would like me to do that... keep in mind.. in the pics on their site it's a 1 piece.. I spoke to the guy in person and he said it'll be a 3 piece direct bolt on.. no fabrication involved.. so most likely.. that's just a computer model as Low4Xtreme previously said. But, if anyone would be interested in seeing this.. let me know and i'll do anything I can to get a pic or two of this and post it up

Re: NEW 2nd Gen Blazer Roll Pan
Those look nice but I'm not a real big fan of rollpans on a Blazer. Hate to change the subject, but if any of you Blazer Xtreme owners get one, sell me those end bumper caps or whatever they are called cheap. I'm wanting to change my stock 2 door pewter Blazer into an Xtreme

Re: NEW 2nd Gen Blazer Roll Pan
for the Raw you need to cut the back frame off up near to the body mounts, in the process you lose some of the bumper mounting holes, lucky some are salvaged and I was able to go back to the factory bumper, lost the towing package in the deal though, at least I'm a few pounds lighter now :-)

Re: NEW 2nd Gen Blazer Roll Pan
...Am I the only one that sees that this piece doesn't even remotely follow the body lines of the truck? Don't ge me wrong, I think more people need to make stuff for Blazers, but this piece, regardless of build quality, does not look good. If the picture on their site is what the end result will be, I would stay away from that. The body line at the top of the rollpan, on the sides doesn't have any recess to match the factory line, the line from around the rear fenderwell is freakin square, and the licesnse bucket looks thick, like what would be on a ricer body kit, so I'm sure the Xtreme version will look more like it "fits".
Good Luck with that. BR549 |

Re: NEW 2nd Gen Blazer Roll Pan
to be honest, a blazer roll pan has only looked truely good in a few situations, kandersons blazer or on a 4 door, there is just something about a 2 doors rear glass angle that doesnt seem right with a pan, I think it would look nicer just to do something trick with the bumper in some way........

Re: NEW 2nd Gen Blazer Roll Pan
i want to shorten the part that sticks out like 3 inches, so there is a VERY small step there
then put a bumper similar to the early 2nd gen bumper on there, but with no step pad thats my dream ![]() |
