Question Need some info guy/gals

Ok here is the deal. Oct. 30th I was T-Boned by some ass that ran a red light and now my blue baby is dead and gone. Now with that said I have a new toy its a 01 Jimmy, Two door, Two wheel drive. When I get my fat check from suing that ass that totaled my baby blue I'm planing on lowering the Jimmy and putting newer and bigger rims. But my questoin is this. If I lower the Jimmy with Beltech 3/3 or 4/4 would I be able to fit 20's with a 40 series tire on it? I really don't want to go any lower that a 40 series tire cause here in oklahoma the roads suck and I've seen friends dent the shit out of their 20's with 30 series tires. So any info guys/gals will be great.
Thanks in advance
