Need Help! No start(for a while then it starts)
I need some help w/my 97 auto Blazer. When turning the key to start,I get nothing from the starter. The dash lights come on,fuel pump comes on,radio turns off when you try to start. Eventually it will start after 10 minutes of trying and the car runs fine. The ignition switch was replaced less than a year ago,so I don't think that's the problem. I've been reading about the neutral/safety switch, but don't know where its located on my car to see if that's it. Does anyone know where it's located on a 97(6 cyl auto if that matters)?
Also, the key will get stuck in the lock position-I'm assuming the key lock cylinder is to blame? |

Re: Need Help! No start(for a while then it starts)
there is also a starter relay that can be a pain. my 96 does that and i have to unplug the starter relay count to 10, plug it back in and it starts just fine. only does it like once a month tho.

the neutral/safety switch is on the side of the transmission, have you tried putting it in neutral to start it?
