My Newest Ebay Purchase
Any installation advice would be appreciated, but it seems more or less straightforward. I bought this 97 4x4 for $2K a couple months ago and my goal is to make it a modified '05 ZR2 clone... http://images.snapfish.com/344%3A59%3A%3B23232%7Ffp63%3Dot%3E2349%3D3%3B9%3D7 3%3C%3DXROQDF%3E2323%3A%3A3356649ot1lsi (why doesn't BBCode work???) (that's my 05 Specialized Hardrock Comp Disc in front of my Blazer) Last edited by brent4x420 : 09-22-2005 at 03:07 AM. |

Re: My Newest Ebay Purchase
no offense meant, but you are in for a lot more work than you think......
There are internal brakets on the inside of the quater panel, not that simple to get in there to add your own. If you don't reinforce the panel, it will not hold and dent to hell...... Same thing goes for the tail gate part, but that will be alittle easier to get to....... Just remember, brackets are needed, just don't think you are going to drill some holes and put a bolt through with a nut on the end as that won't cut it...... good luck also, if you truly expect to made it a zr2 clone using zr2 parts, again, good luck. Rear ends are different, shocks and mouting points are different. If you just want the apearance, put a lift on it and some revo tires and call it good.................. Re: My Newest Ebay Purchase
did you take yours OFF too? I moved it inside and got a inside mount from s10warehouse. Much more usefull..... I fit a fullsize couch in the back on mine resting on the tailgate, couldn't fit in my parents 2004 trail blazer..... ![]() |
