Get super swamper tsl boggers if you want a mudding machine, imo. you could just do the lower half of the blazer.

boggers suck IMO get bfg mudders or mud graplers but not ATs if you want a mud machine and hurculiner is cheaper but just as good as rino liner

Re: My idea of a paint job

you should try posting this in the lifting it section and see what responses you get, you could also just put it on the bottom unless your truck needs new paint, this isn't my truck but looks cool IMO

Re: My idea of a paint job

I have had bfg mud terrains, they were okay. I had thornbirds, they were useless. I have had the baja claws as mentioned above, they were pretty good. All my favorites are dead and gone. The old super swamper tread pattern from the mid 90s was hard to beat. Gumbo mudders were always a favorite. The next set i buy will be some tsl boggers. i had them before and they were great. Im gonna get some really skinny ones this time. last time i had 14.5" wide 35s on the k5. Im thinking some 11.5 x 36 this time. I gotta get them soon cause im putting a dana 60 in the front and i dont have any 16.5 tires to go on the rims.

Re: My idea of a paint job

I have to agree with the BFG a/t's. Great street tire and light trail. Other than that, you would get through the mud about as far on a set of slicks. LOL.

As far as the rhino lining, I have seen a couple of vehicles "painted" with it. It does look cool at first. However, the color in it fades out rather quickly. If you were to do it, I would not even consider the "colored" versions. In Texas, there was a big Dodge that had it done in red. It looks pink now.

The last thing to consider is the weight issue. Believe it or not, that stuff is very heavy. I am not trying to talk you out of it, but I have weighed these same options on my Jeep. Good luck.

Re: My idea of a paint job

lining the whole outside of a vehicle in rhino would be nuts...(bad) not good. that stuff will put so much weight onto your vehicle itll be too heavy to drive unless you dont care about gas mileage. to cover your truck your looking at about 15 gallons of material 1/4" thick. i spray permatech which is extremely similar to rhino lining and we use right at 5 gallons of material in the bed of a short bed truck over the rails. and it adds some weight. if your gona do the whole outside of a vehicle use something light like gator guard.. its only 50 bucks a quart and its thin and light weight but resistant like rhino and it will only take about 4 quarts to spray the whole thing
