Re: motor swap

Welcome!

Pulling a 4.3 is just like pulling most any other motor.the only thing you can really take-off to make it easier is going to be the headers/exaust manifolds.Undo your wiring harness take off your fan and shroud, unbolt the exaust manifolds and tie them back out of your way unbolt the 6 tranny bolts and torque converter bolts (if auto),I beleive there is a kick down for your trans (could be wrong) remove that from your throttle linkage if it has it. Remove your coolent first obviously to save you loads of mess and undo all coolent lines. Undo the motor mounts and your ready to pull it.

Have fun and if you have any other questions feel free to ask!

Re: motor swap

radiator (of course), take the radiator support, and the grill out so you have more room to work, it's like 8 screws or something. Then when you got your cherry picker on it you can come up and out. You could take your hood off, so it doesn't get in your way (it's 2 bolts, and one guy can carry an s10 hood)
