Question misfire

hey guys i was wondering if anybody can help me. i have a 2000 blazer 4.3 my check engine light came on and i took it to autozone to get the scanner on and it said random misfire, so i replaced the wires spark plugs rotor and cap and the fuel filter, everything was running smooth until like 2 day ago the light came on again so i took it back and now it said multiple misfire, so ireplace the last thing which was the ignition coil, its running better but the light still on and its not running perfect still want to like chocke when u step on the gas now its doesnt do it all the time but it does. does anyone know what else can i do to solve this problem or should i just take it to the shop!

Re: misfire

Sounds like it could be the fuel injection. Check this thread for more info.

Also, here's a thread
that shows you how to do it yourself.

Good luck. Let us know what you find.

Re: misfire

I've had a string of Service engine soon lights lately. Advanced Auto did a free diagnosis and came up with several codes. Too rich, too lean, misfire, EGR, and something else. The car seemed to run fine except at idle. At idle it was terrible- stalling, surging, and missing. I ran a can of Seafoam thru the system in about 10 gal gas and it ran better. Repeated the process with the next 10 gallons and now is running like new. Hope this helps.
