Miles per hour and engine rpms
I have a 95 Blazer with the 4.3 engine and the 4L60 gearbox. When cruising at 120 kph ( 75-80 mph) the tach is pointing to 2700 rpms which is, my opinion, a little high regime for this huge engine. Measured (carefully) mileage is of 8 kpl (18.8 miles per gallon) at the hwy. But I can't compare the Blazer with any other. Which is your rate of rpms when cruising at similar speed?. My speedmeter is 100% accurate (GPS, stopwatch). The tires are 255/60 (stupid former owner). Thanks.
