key stuck in ignition?
got a 98 jimmy 4 door automatic, went to take the key out an it was stuck in the on position an it will turn to try an turn the engine over but it wont turn back an come out an so its killed the battery, and is still stuck, anyone had this happen to them before?

happened to me when i was taking my air bag off the steering wheel.when i hooked the battery back up it came right out.

Mine has the same problem...
just put the tranny in gear and back into park...try this over and over... it works eventually..., also try turning the wheel... before putting it into park... not scientific, but it works... |

there is a small hole underneath the ignition, just remove the cover(it's a little round plastic piece) then push something in there and it will release the key.
