Jack Cover

I have a 97 Jimmy and seeings hoe my jack is no longer of use to be I was just wondering if any Jimmy's or Blazers came without the cargo cover and both sides of the rear on the inside were the same? I was thinking I might have go just cut and glass to get rid of that cover thing. I am not sure.
