Question Is there anyway to fix a rattle my rear hatch makes?

I don't have the tailgate back end, I have the hatch that the whole door lifts up. Whenever I hit a bump it rattles really bad, it seems to be coming from the latch. I've checked and the striker and latch are all tight and you can't adjust them. I put some electrical tape around the striker to see if that was the problem and it didn't make a difference.

Anyone have any ideas?

There's gotta be a way to fix this. I wonder if moving the bumpers out on the sides of the jam would do anything? Mine is already as far out as they'll go, but I could just get a longer bolt.

I've got tape around the striker all ready. The door itself feels tight. I think I hear two different noises now, a squeek from the plastic panel and the door. I've gotta fix this somehow so I'm going to take the entire panel off and see if I can find what it may be.

I'll look at it, but I have the full lift gate and you have the drop gate/lift glass. I'm pretty sure it's coming from the lift gate, but I'll take a look at the glass.
