initial starting problems, no fuel pump prime. HELP!!
something is wrong with my blazer. a code popped up so i took it to autozone to have it read. crack sensor irratic. nothing to do with fuel. so i drove to wally world to get my dad a b-day card, hopped into the blazer and lit er up. nothing. no fuel pump priming. checked the relay. its good. checked ECM B fuse. thats good to. bought a multimeter and tested the fuel pum connector, the fuse and relay sockets. all tested fine. i couldnt see if the wire i was testing was the grey wire or not. looked like it. only read 5v at it. after studying my schematics, if that is the fuel pump power wire, its supposed to read 12v. its a direct wire from the fuse/relay center. i will check for a continuity test on that wire later.
but if it is a dead fuel pump, what is the best way to drop the tank and get the old pump out and a new one in? |

"stealer"ship dinged me $1300 to change the fuel pump/sending unit and fuel filter... i think it was just the fuel filter though... |
