Re: im stumped
nope
all 2nd gens run 4L60E's. Some of the nicer Blazers came with floor shifters. After selling my stock one I have about $10 in mine ![]() |

Re: im stumped
4l60e was introduced in 94 I believe sometime before that they had 4l60's but I don't know what they came in. I know forsure the 700R4's cam in all auto fullsizes from 92 down.

By all fullsizes I meant 1/2 tons.

Re: im stumped
Haha yea I was just saying! I love it though. It looks 100x better than a column shifter imo.

Re: im stumped
Yeah because it's not electronic so putting it in vehicles that didn't come with a 4l60e is easier

Re: im stumped
700's came in a lot of first gens I think. My brother had a 89 4x4 4.3 which had one.

Re: im stumped
I believe that's the only tranny they used in the auto 1st gens. It's been a long time since they used 350 turbos in anything, with the exception of the early 454ss's (which were a joke), I think that's what they had in them. I know they didn't have OD

Re: im stumped
like said above.. anything pre 92 that is rear wheel drive, came with a 6 or 8 cylinder and was a gm.. lol. 700r4 was the ony tranny they used from the early 80s up..
