if you think you know about blazers answer these three questions....
and i searched heavily for all questions, trust me, its all i do these days...
question one: i wanna convert to drivers power seat bc the seat sits way too low for me and the handle is broken anyways. (2000 blazer 4dr 4wd) is there a harness lead to just plug in to tucked under somewhere? or where should i tap into power from that is fused correctly. i assume there is a harness lead bc its gm and its easier that way. second question: is it easy/worth it to convert from a one piece lift gate to a two piece lift/drop combo number three: i have read numerous posts on the over head console swap. well my blazer already has one but only the temp and direction. i also read that all is needed to change to full trip is the computer and possibly buttons. can someone confirm this and let me know where the computer is ( i think its behind the display.) so all i have to do is swipe one from the junk yard and plug it into the overhead console and it will work w/o and other modifications? know what is sweet? if all above is true i can drive in to the jy and drive out all changed over already and they wont be able to tell.. just leave my old parts there... i might buy something little to make it look legit...but im not sure how the jy here works, at the jy where i used to live i have done it before to another vehicle. ![]() |

1 - should be one there but if not you should be able to get the harness that go under the carpet and plug it into the main harness under the dash
2- not in my opinion, i think youd have to fab up the lower hinge points 3 - should plug and play if not then youd need the bcm outta the donor, it either behind the glove box area or under the pass seat, cant remember which |

2 - thought so, but you would figure it would be the same some how... ill have to compare in person... im autobody so it prob wont be too hard... full lift gate is obnixious. 3 - bcm... same year or 99+ is good? 4 door 4x4 dependent? etc... again, thank mang |

Re: if you think you know about blazers answer these three questions....
1) reach under your seat, or run it all the way forward on the track and look from behind... there should be a connector underneath it already for power/heated seats.
3) The connector for the compass/temp is different from the trip computer connector. They added an extra pin for the data line coming up from the BCM. |
