i swear to god, my blazer doesn't have a rear hatch pop button!

i just bought a 98 2wd two door blazer... it's got manual windows and locks. i had another blazer before this, sadly 4wd, and i know where the rear hatch pop should be located. it's not there on my blazer. it's no where, actually. i have to manually get out, take the key, stick it in, turn it, open the window, then open the hatch. that doesn't seem right. were there actually blazers made without a rear hatch pop button? i'm not retarded or blind, i had three people look for one. found everything else but no rear hatch pop button.

what button is below the rear wiper button?

edit: shit jsut noticed your pictures in the other thread...you dont have rear wipers.......the push button was prolly an option....you can make your own with a door solinoid

edit again...i did a search and they didnt all come with them so your not the only one......one guy said he pulled his dash bezel off and the wiring plug is back there.....i dunno how accurate that is

okay thank you. i was going crazy for a moment, i thought i was retarded. the spot where the rear window wiper/rear hatch button is just a big void... theres nothing there. i just bought it, took it to the car wash, and my glass in my mirror popped out and broke. so i ordered the ss mirrors haha. but yeah, now i have some reassurance that there is no rear hatch release button. dernoma, you're the man. i owe you majorly haha.

well especially seeing you have manual locks and windows no popper button for you.....

also he said there might be a plug in the harness where the switch should be.....there should be plug and wiring....youll just need an actuator in the gate.

i had a full power hatch and i bought 1 like yours all the holes are there to bolt up all the power acc inside the gate
