Re: How to get rid of glass creak?

I had an old school blazer with back glass like that...for a temp fix i wrapped the latch with electrical tape and lubed up the stripping. Worked like a charm.

Re: How to get rid of glass creak?

yeah my panels rattle like crazy too since they're all cut and made to fit around the tubs. But nothing's as annoying as that high pitched squeaking.

Lube around the rubber weather stripping? I'll try that, I was thinking about like Vaseline I there or something so it doesn't make a nasty mess.

Re: How to get rid of glass creak?

i did it! the prolem was the striker on the glass piece, that makes a loop. i put a strip of black tape around that and it tightened up the fit enough and it doesnt wiggle anymore!

Mine seems to creak more during the winter than they do during the summer. And yea I hate the cheap plastic interior rattles and noises.
