how to fix rear blazer windows

Well since i didn't see a how-to on how to fix rear windows on here i decided to make one when i did mine.
since i did a complete repaint on my blazer i had my windows out so i wouldnt have tape lines anywhere
heres some of the stuff i used. i forgot to take pictures of the glaze and steps in painting

heres before on windows

i then cleaned the windows front and back with a foaming window cleaner from the dollar store. and i went from there. i got some tape and masked off the back side by the vents so primer wouldnt get on the windows

then i actually used the fine line tap on top of the rubber edge just a little so that incase you had to use some glaze it wouldnt be on the window. so i stayed about 1/8 inch on the rubber all the way around with tape. and then went over with 1 inch tape on 18 inch masking paper. and masked the whole window. my bottom edge wasnt messed up so i covered that.

then i decided to go over it with 400 at first but wasnt cutting good so i went to 220 on a da

after sanded a little it needed some filler. so i cleaned the edge off with some 3m 382 enamel reducer and then sprayed some nason etching primer on it.

heres the window with etching primer on it

here i used evercoat oem metal glaze

then i went over that with some 180 and got it close to what it needs to be and primered it

i waited a few days incase the glaze was to shrink or not. the window was out in the sun for those days. then i took some 400 and wetsanded the window and where i had hard primer lines to remove them and unmasked the window. i then cleaned the window again and used fine line tape on the window this time as close as i could get it to the rubber. and then after it was all masked i took a red scotch brite pad and went on the bottom of the window this time since i wanted it painted. after that i used 3812 again and wiped it off
wetsanded

remasked

then here it is sealed, painted and cleared.

finish back on the car

and heres the truck... the leafs i was told to fit a blazer and s10 leafs only fit s10s. blazer leafs are shorter by 5 inches. im waiting on lowering leafs and i need to put my spindles on it.

nice. painted trim looks soooo clean on blazers, cant wait till mine is done. i got most of mine repaired by da'ing with 220 and then priming. mine wasnt as bad as yours.
