Re: how much did you all pay

I paid 2500 For my 1998 2dr 4x4 111K. I felt I overpaid a little but It was rare to find one like that with everything I wanted. Sunroof, heated mirrors, 3.73, G80, 2door, low miles, and overhead console. It does still need some cosmetic work but it was way worse when I got it.

Re: how much did you all pay

I can't believe how cheap you guys are getting these for. Here in Michigan they want like $5K for ones with 150K miles or more! I found my 98 Jimmy 4x4 pretty well loaded minus leather with 73K miles for $6200 out the door. Most that are equipped like mine with similar miles they want $7500-8500 depending on year.

Re: how much did you all pay

4 months ago i paid 8k for my 04 LS 4dr 2wd. Power windows, locks, consoles, 3.42, and a little scrape on the right rear bumper cap with 63k. I bought it from the dealership it was originally bought from and the previous owner had EVERYTHING done there, so I knew it was well maintained.

I bought my 1995 LT 4x4 4dr and loaded for $1800 last year just south of Jackson, MI. Had about 150k miles on it at the time. I had to replace the rear window latch, the rear window wiper motor, the drivers side power window motor, upper and lower ball joints on both sides, inner and outer tie rod ends on both sides, idler arm, and new tires. The power driver's seat didn't work at the time (found a broken wire under the carpet to fix). If I had to pay someone for the repairs, it probably would have ended up costing what you paid for yours. Sometimes what appears to be a great deal does not turn out that way. But it runs and drives great every day now, so I'm good.

Re: how much did you all pay

Just agreed to purchase a 99 Bravada with all sorts of repairs and 120k on the clock for $3,800.

Also have agreement to purchase an 01 Jimmy with 92k on the clock from a friend for $3,500. It needed a lot of work though and we did a bunch over the summer.

Paid $3,600 for my 96 S-10 extended cab 4 years ago. had 135k on it. Now has 195k

92 S-10 bought brand new in 92 for $12k. gave it to someone after it turned 205k an my wife wrecked it.

Re: how much did you all pay

FWIW I was at an auto auction on Thursday and while I was there 3 or 4 blazers or jimmys rolled through. Not a one went for less than 2 grand and you could tell at least half had the sagging DS door and a bad hub bearing or two.

$200 for my "bastard year" '95 Blazer 4wd 2dr all power and 160,000 mi. Just need wires replaced to starter and a new starter. Needs a new y-pipe, thats bent and exhaust flange will not seal right,so it has a small exhaust leak. other than that it runs great and no rust.

Re: how much did you all pay

I just picked up this 03, after driving an 85 since new, for $5500. 93,000 miles. Had to replace the leaking oil cooler lines and had new tires put on. The old tires still had some tread left but were worthless for traction. Good thing too since we just got a foot of snow and had blizzard conditions all weekend.

Here's a pic my 05 from a couple of years ago. Has around 94,000 miles on it now.

Yeah I was wrong, but... Most 09 models are out now and his 2000 model could have came out in a 99 model sometime. Technically he could have been 11 or 12 depending on his birthday and build date of the Blazer.
