how do u back flush the heater system?

how do u back flush the heater system?

i just read in another post u can unclog the heater core by back flushing the heater system or something???? can some one help me ASAP its freeeezing

All things considered you should just replace the thing. I'm doing mine Wednesday, and during the process I'm flushing out the whole coolant system with vinegar. I'd just replace the heater core though.

u should find out what hose is the intake hose and what hose comes out, then get a garden hose and pull off both hoses and stick it in the outgoin so it pushes back out thro the intake hose but make sure the intake hose is pointed towards the ground, but your best bet would be to go to orileys or something and get a coolant flusher u hook up a garden hose and water and then do it but u can just use a garden hose to it will work

and where would i find this hose? not too familiar with this motor, just got the car 2 days ago??? anyone got pics or anything?

well i popped the hood and i saw the 2 hoses as i was lokign at the engine, its on the left side of the firewal, and out of the 2 hoses which do i stick the hose in? and how long willl it take?? and do i also take the other hose out also? what runs through those hoses?
