Hey new to forum and need local help!

Hey I am new to the forum, but I am looking for help with my 2nd gen Bravada. i have an 00 bravada and i just installed a CAI and I am looking to install a new muffler, nothing too expensive just a flowtech raptor, the truck already has 143k+ miles on it im not looking to add some crazy system to a truck that may not be around much longer. If some one that is local in Michigan that has welding equipment that would charge me less than a Mr muffler or midas thatd be great Ill provide the parts needed. Please PM me or email me thanks!

Re: Hey new to forum and need local help!

Most muffler shops don't charge much at all o just weld in a muffler, maybe around $30.

Don't go to a big chain, especially MIDAS.

MIDAS is the worst place to go for anything. Only a moron would go to MIDAS, they rip-off people constantly, it's their company policy to try to scam customers intio paying for 4600 of unneeded stuff.

MIDAS stands for:
Man
I'm
Dumb
As
Shit

Re: Hey new to forum and need local help!

well its when you accelerate or just rev it a little while driving and the engine hangs at a certain rpm for a second and then drops to cruising. Lets say i accelerate to 5000rpm and then i let off the gas but the car doesnt shift it just hangs at like 2400 and then drops to cruising rpm's im not sure if thats bad or not and i have the same CAI and i didnt have that "issue" i guess until i installed it. And did you happen to dyno your truck after the install, because i have no access to a dyno so im not sure on my gains. but i do know that its louder and is definitly faster from stop and a roll.
