Herkin and Jerkin between 40 and 50 mph

Hi all,
I have a 95' Blazer LS. About 4 months ago, I had the whole thing tuned up by a transmission place, not a chevy dealership. Now everytime I get to 40 mph and up to 50 mph, my blazer "lurches" or jerks. Am I mis-firing? Bad wires? Soot build up? I'm not a do it yourself engine guy so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Do you mean that the rpms shoot up with no acceleration (like it's jumping in and out of OD) or that it has a definite miss. If it's the former, then think about getting the transmission flushed. Cured my issues between 45-55mph

No rpm shoot up, blazer just jerks. It does do the rpm shoot up and no acceleration when I put it in reverse though.
