Re: Here Is My 1998 Chevy Blazer

Everything is clean and tasteful so far. I like everything in your list of planned mods, except for 22s.

22's on a stock height (not lowered) 4x4 is IMO. A small drop would go good with 22s, or lift it on some nice offroad wheels and tires.

Re: Here Is My 1998 Chevy Blazer

Hey welcome to the forum. Yes 20s would be better with a drop, I hope you know that because its 4x4 you can't put rims off a 2wd they will stick out 2". You could also do a newer corvette/camaro wheels.

Re: Here Is My 1998 Chevy Blazer

Definitely a good truck to start with. Very clean!

Lose the Pep Boys gas/brake pedal covers though, imo. My bro-in-law had those on his truck... not only are they tacky, but his actually broke off once while he was coming to a stop, jammed in with his foot between the two pedals and almost caused him to slam right into the car in front of him. Probably won't happen to everyone, but just something to keep in mind with the cheapo pedals.

Re: Here Is My 1998 Chevy Blazer

x2 on the pedal covers. When I worked at a body shop pull a car in that had those and my shoe lace got stuck to one and I almost hit another car in the shop.

Do it like George's and Brains Blazers. Both wheel/tire combo and suspension setup are perfect for a Blazer imo.
