Help with my Bravada Floor shifter in S10 P\U.
Hi All, I own a 97 S10 ss, 33k on it. Last Summer I took on the project to swap out the colum shifter (I HATE) with a floor shifter assembly out of a brvada\blazer\jimmy.
I got every mounted in place "factory Style I even bought the requireded brackets so nothing would look hack. Now I am stuck on the harness that comes off of the shifter that is for the neutral safety switch & the lights. I have a set of GM Service Manuals so I see the schematics and the wires etc, but I don't like to splice wires (unless it is last resort) when I could easily purchase a harness or a "part". I have been searching for a bravada in my area just so I could peak under the dash but no luck, most bravada owners are old men that golf and pull there white sox to their knees and have 0 passion for cars. If anyone knows where that little 6 or 8 pin harness plugs into, and or can get me a digital pictures of the "area" I would surely appreciate it. I am an S10 Nut I have done a lot to my truck, and know how to do a lot to them so I can be of great service to you in helping you answer questions or getting you photocopies of wiring diagrams from the Factory Service Manual. Thanks d03 |

The only wires you need to really trully hook up are the pink wire to acc 12v, black (ground) and blue (12v to light switch)... The safety neutral is integrated into the switch on the side of the transmission so you don't have to worry about loosing that. "The pink to 12v accessory is for the interlock solenoid. That's it. |
