Re: help w/ 4wd

3 or 4 button switch?

After having 4wd problems with one of the vehicles I was working on and looking up info, the switches do go bad and it seems common. If you do some searching you'll find a testing procedure for the 4wd switches. Kind of vague with the numbers but if you have two side by side the numbers should be identical.

Re: help w/ 4wd

the switches love to fail and stop working or work halfway.

when i bought my 4x4 2000 jimmy, the light stayed on, shortly after buying it, the light went off, but i never noticed till awhile back.. i have to slap the switch multiple times till it lights up then i can switch.
