Help Identifying 1997 Blazer Noise

I am hearing a high pitched noise almost like a leak in a baloon, or a vacume leak of some sort coming from the passenger side kick panel area in my 1997 Chevy S-10 Blazer..(please note that the sound is ONLY coming from the interior passenger side kick panlel area)
I'm sure that it is not a door seal leak because the sound occurs whether the vehicle is moving or not)
The sound is intermittent, is not audible from the exterior or under hood area of the vehicle, adjusting the heater controls or radio does not affect the noise.. the sound only eminates when the vehicle has been driven for a few miles.. if you shut off the vehicle for a few minutes and then restart it will be silent for a little while (a couple of miles, and then begins again)
it is driving me insane!!!!
has anyone had this happen??
any input would be greatly appreciated..

Just A Guess Maybe A Start Of A Small Leak In Ur Heater Core.hope Im Not Right.
