Heater door actuator
On my 98' Blazer equipped with electronic climate control I have a bad issue with the little electrical motor & system that opens or close the heater door.
The thing is that the door is not moving anymore. One of the pinion that is inside the box is partially broken(see pict). The metallic axle is rotating inside the pinion. Going through the websites I usually go to buy my spare parts, I'm unable to find this part (I would like to by the whole gearbox). As I don't leave in the states, it would be great if someone would know a place, a store or a website where I could buy this part. I really would like to enjoy having a heater again before next winter ![]() Last edited by tahi : 08-24-2008 at 02:20 PM. Reason: picture |

Re: Heater door actuator
HI,
I went on eBay and found one, thanks for the link and the part identification (I was not aware that the number on my part was fer sure a GM ref). As only one pinion has a crack, I'll replace the one cracked on mine when I receive the new part. |

Re: Heater door actuator
I had the same problem with mine. I got it at the dealer.
P.S. Send me a set of those wheel flares. |
