Re: Heater Core Failure??

pop the hood and you will see 2 hoses going into the middle of your firewall

take them both off, and put your garden hose in one side...turn it on and water will flow out the other tube
repeat this with the hose in the other hole, and do it back and forth a few times

then either flush your coolant and put non dexacool brand in or have it flushed and have them put non dexacool antifreeze in

my guess is that the dexacrap coolant clogged your heater core...you do not want to replace your heater core as i have head that means removing your dash

Re: Heater Core Failure??

why do you say it is your heater core??do you not have any heat? just do a full cooling system flush and reverse flush and it should be fine also blaz1n is good if you have just your core plugges but i would suggest the whole system flush because the "wonders" of dexcool

as soon as you get a chance get the dexcool coolant out of there
they make a "universal" coolant now...i used it and all good so far
