heater core
hey maybe someone can help. my heater core is bad in my 01 twodoor blazer. i was looking at it today and it appears to me that the dash has to be removed to get to it. if someone has done theres recently can i have some pointers. i know how to get the dash out. just other stuff that i need to look out for. thanks

You are correct, the dash does need to come out. Once you get the dash out, the heater core is very simple to change. I believe there is a write up some where on this.

I am not sure, but when I did mine, I bought a Haynes manual and it walked me right through. It takes some time, the first time.

I have brand new factory sealed GM Heater core sitting in my shop, if you want / need to buy one. Let me know.

I just got mine back on the road a couple of weeks ago (95 S10). Since you know how to get the dash out, you've pretty much got all the knowledge you need.
