Heat is always on

I have a 98 Blazer (4x4 4.3L) and there is always hot air comming from the vents even when the temp knob is cranked all the way to cold. It is HOT air too, like the knob is on hot. Anyone know whats up with this. Even with the A/C is on it is hot air.

You need to recharge your freon? or your AC is dead.
