Good Brush Guards
I have been looking for a brush guard for my truck for a while now and really havent found 1 thats not like $500. I would REALLY like a stainless one and i found one on deals of steel and it is a manik nock off but was still really nice looking. My truck is black so i figure polished stainless is best. Any help or giuidence is much appreciated. TIA

Re: Good Brush Guards
I would make one but i dont have access to a welder that can nicely weld stainless. My uncle works at a manuf. company and he said it could end up costing possibly more than buying one (of course i asked for 4 off road light mounts, and a winch mount
) he said w/out those it would be around $475-500 if his boss lets him and his friends do it. Sound reasonable? |

Re: Good Brush Guards
Dont use stainless and youll keep your cost down. Just paint/linex your guard black and call it a day.

Re: Good Brush Guards
I want stainless cause it will look nicer longer and the on my truck is black and polished aluminum and stainless. If i painted it i would want it gloss black and with that it wont stay nice for long. Plus around here they use tons of salt and it would destroy it in a short amount of time. And i dont want to take it off cause deer around here are a big problem. Are there any afforable stainless full brush guards out there now?
